Rules for safe, lawful, and compliant use of Maker AI
2026/03/17
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you may and may not do when using Maker AI. It applies to your prompts, uploaded assets, reference materials, generated outputs, account activity, and any use of our website, APIs, and related services.
This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service. By using Maker AI, you agree to follow this policy.
Maker AI is intended for lawful photo-to-video generation, promotional clips, storyboards, and other creative pre-production or publishing workflows.
You must only use the service in ways that:
You may not use Maker AI to create, request, upload, edit, or distribute any of the following:
We use automated and manual review processes to enforce this policy. We may review prompts, project titles, uploaded files, reference images, generated outputs, and related account activity for safety and compliance purposes.
We may block or remove content, refuse generation requests, suspend features, restrict payment access, cancel subscriptions, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP or create compliance risk.
Using third-party AI models or APIs does not transfer responsibility away from you or from us. You remain responsible for how you use the service, and we may take action even if a third-party provider allowed the request.
You may not attempt to evade moderation or safety controls through misspellings, coded language, prompt injection, image-based instructions, layered requests, or any other circumvention technique.
You may not ask other users, tools, or workflows to help you generate content that would be prohibited if requested directly through Maker AI.
If we contact you about a compliance or safety issue, you must respond truthfully and promptly. We may ask for clarification about your use case, source materials, or account activity.
We may update this AUP from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page.
